The prosecutor’s office of Transbaikalia demanded to invalidate the regional budget due to the lack of additional payments to doctors

The Prosecutor’s Office of the Trans-Baikal Territory sent an application to the regional court demanding to invalidate the provisions of the regional law on the budget. How informs the press service of the department, we are talking about the law “On the budget of the Trans-Baikal Territory for 2022 and the planning period of 2023 and 2024”, adopted in December last year, due to the absence in the document of expenditure obligations for additional payments to medical workers in the total amount of more than 4.1 billion rubles .

“It has been established that the adopted law does not provide financial resources for the payment of a regional coefficient in the amount of 20% to the wages of employees of healthcare institutions working in the system of compulsory medical insurance. In total, about 1.4 billion rubles are not included in the budget for 2022. such expenses, and in general, taking into account the planning period for three years – more than 4.1 billion rubles.

Currently, according to the regional prosecutor’s office, the additional payment to medical workers is allocated at the expense of the Compulsory Medical Insurance Fund, which “could be used to improve the quality of medical care to the population.”
