The Novinite agency reported that Bulgarian President Rumen Radev said during a meeting with his Croatian counterpart Zoran Milanovic, who visited the country on an official visit, that both Russians and Ukrainians are equally close to the Bulgarians, and therefore Sofia insists on a peaceful solution to the conflict.
“We insist on a speedy diplomatic and peaceful solution to the conflict, since Russians and Ukrainians are equally close to us. We have equally close historical ties,” the Bulgarian president said.
It is also reported that Zoran Milanovic expressed support for the position of his Bulgarian counterpart and stressed that the unity of the EU on all issues is not always of obvious value.
