The opening of the Interregional Speed Skating Competition took place in Gusev

In the city of Gusev, Kaliningrad region, the official opening ceremony of the Inter-regional speed skating competitions was held – the short track discipline “Sochi Olympus” – “West”.
The solemn event was attended by the head of the administration of Gusev Alexander Kitaev, the head of the Gusev urban district Andrey Gnezdilov, the head of the regional Department for the organization and development of physical culture and sports of the Ministry of Sports Ekaterina Istomina. This was reported by the press service of the Gusev Administration.
192 athletes from the capital and the Moscow region, from St. Petersburg and the Leningrad region, as well as from the Kaliningrad, Smolensk Tver, Yaroslavl regions and the Krasnodar Territory will take part in the speed skating sport. In addition, athletes from the Republic of Belarus will participate. All participants were presented with memorable gifts.
The award will take place on February 7, 2023.
