In the UK, the number of homeless Ukrainian refugees has doubled in six months

In the UK, over the past six months, the number of homeless Ukrainian refugees has doubled. It is reported by LGC.

The published material says that such growth was facilitated by the expiration of the "sponsorship" agreements, according to which Ukrainians could live in the families of British citizens. Now local authorities are proposing to solve the problem by relocating the homeless to temporary public housing.

Statistics were also given, from which it follows that since the end of November 2022, 3,010 families have been left without housing in the UK. At the moment, this number is 5995 families, compared with 2985 in November last year.
