Coaches and athletes of the Russian men's ski jumping team will arrive in Sakhalin on May 27. On the island, they will hold training camps and a master class for local athletes, as well as take part in an open championship for the prize of the Soviet Sakhalin newspaper. This was reported in the press service of the regional Ministry of Sports.

The delegation that will visit the island region included the head coach of the men's team Evgeny Plekhov, head coach Ilya Roslyakov, Olympic medalists Evgeny Klimov and Danil Sadreev, athletes Mikhail Purtov, Kirill Kotik, Vladislav Mustafin.

The open regional championship for the prize of the newspaper "Soviet Sakhalin" with the participation of members of the national team will be held on June 4 at the springboard complex "Vysota". Entrance for spectators is free. The start time of the competition will be announced later.
