The Moscow Exchange index fell below 2000 points for the first time since February 24

During morning trading, the Moscow Exchange index fell by 4.69% to 1991.82. The index fell below 2,000 for the first time since February 24. The RTS index fell by 5.8% and amounted to 1075.55 points.
Decline Leaders:
- VK (-7.05%, up to 390.2 rubles);
- Polyus (-6.73%, up to 5937.5 rubles);
- “Yandex” (-5.74%, up to 1689 rubles);
- LUKOIL (-4.34%, up to 3777 rubles);
- Norilsk Nickel (-3.27%, up to 13,686 rubles).
The stock market is falling against the backdrop of referendums of the LPR, DPR, Zaporozhye and Kharkiv regions on joining Russia.
