The Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation has updated the list of foreign agents, adding five new individuals to it.
The registry was replenished by video blogger Nikolai Sobolev, journalist Alexander Makashenets, political scientist Pavel Mezerin, as well as writers Elena Prokasheva (Malisova) and Ekaterina Dudko (Silvanova).
Malisova and Silvanova became famous thanks to the novel “Summer in a Pioneer Tie”, written by them in collaboration, as well as the continuation of the book – “What the Swallow is Silent About”. After the adoption in November 2022 of the law on the “prohibition of LGBT propaganda”, the first book was withdrawn from a number of stores and online platforms.
