The Ministry of Industry and Trade added a Chinese crossover to the program of preferential car loans

The Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation has expanded the range of cars that can be purchased with state support. Now you can purchase HAVAL Jolion under the preferential car loan program.

The preferential car loan program has been resumed in Russia since July 2022. Within its framework, you can purchase any domestic car worth up to 2 million rubles at a discount of up to 500 thousand rubles. In addition, the program includes Evolute electric cars, they can be purchased at a 35% discount, but not more than 925,000 rubles.

From September 21, under the program of preferential lending, you can also purchase the Chinese crossover HAVAL Jolion, which is produced in Russia. This was reported in the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation.

“In September 2022, HAVAL cars were included in two programs of state support at once – preferential lending and preferential leasing,” the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation specified.

Previously, these cars were not covered by the program, since their cost exceeded the limit of 2 million rubles.

“Production at the HAVAL plant in the Tula region and cost optimization of the HAVAL Jolion in September made it possible for the model to qualify for the program: the recommended retail price for the HAVAL Jolion in the Comfort package today is from 1,899,000 rubles,” the Ministry of Industry and Trade said in a statement.

It is specified that within the framework of state support, the discount when buying a car on credit reaches 20% (in the Far East – 25%). Russians who have minor children (including under guardianship), employees of medical and educational organizations, car owners who trade-in a car over 6 years old and at the same time own it for at least a year, as well as those who buys a car for the first time.

As part of the preferential leasing program, any HAVAL car manufactured in Russia in 2022 can be obtained on preferential terms with an advance payment reduced by 10% of its value.

“The maximum discount on preferential leasing does not exceed 500,000 rubles per vehicle. There are no restrictions on the number and amount of subsidies per lessee,” the Ministry of Industry and Trade specified.

There are only two restrictions. Firstly, in order to receive a discount, a leasing agreement must be concluded with a company that participates in the state support program. And secondly, the contract must be concluded for at least a year.
