The Ministry of Economic Development of the Trans-Baikal Territory announced that it had begun monitoring the price situation in the region’s consumer market in the workwear segment. How informs the press service of the regional government, this is done to prevent possible speculation, since in Transbaikalia there is a demand for overalls – balaclavas, winter berets, rubber boots, thermal underwear, gloves, hats.
“Upon receipt of information about the increase in prices for overalls, we will promptly report this to the Trans-Baikal OFAS Russia. Measures will be taken there,” the Deputy Prime Minister of the regional government Alexander Bardaleev reported.
Earlier it was reported that the head of the Republic of Buryatia Alexei Tsydenov also urged local owners of shops selling workwear, uniforms and equipment to reduce prices. The head of the region threatened to mobilize sellers who decided to “cash in and earn super profits.”
