The Minister of Digital Development, Telecommunications and Mass Media of the Russian Federation Maksut Shadayev said that in the near future the list of specialties for which a deferment from partial mobilization will be provided will be expanded.
“Tomorrow or the day after tomorrow we will expand the list of specialties for postponing employees of IT and telecom companies,” the minister said.
The head of the department also said that lists of citizens who are employees of IT companies and who are entitled to a deferment from mobilization will soon be sent to the military enlistment offices and commissariats. Shadayev recalled that an organization can be considered an IT company if 30% of its revenue is related to IT activities.
Recall that on September 29, a list of 195 specialties and priority areas of higher education training was published, which may be suitable for exemption from partial mobilization. (list, pdf).
