The Ministry of Digital Development clarified the criteria for exemption from mobilization for IT and communications specialists

The press service of the Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media of the Russian Federation published in Telegram explanationsrelating to professions that meet the criteria for exemption from mobilization for specialists in IT and communications.

Mintsifra noted that only employees will receive the right to deferral accredited organizationswho work under employment contracts full time and have a diploma of specialized higher education with a specialty from the list.

“When filling out an application for public services, you need to find the name of your specialty (as in a diploma) in the table and use it to find its current name (in Appendix 2 to the Order of the Ministry of Digital Development), which must be indicated in the application … The presence of an appropriate specialty and employment in an accredited IT -organization or carrier does not in itself qualify for draft exemption.You must also perform critical functions.

At the same time, the accreditation of IT companies was temporarily suspended from August 1. The head of the Ministry of Digital Development Shadayev promised today that it will be resumed within about two weeks.

Starting tomorrow, those eligible for deferment will be able to apply through a special form – they will need to attach a certain package of documents, certified by an enhanced digital signature of the company’s CEO. Also, companies will be able to submit centralized lists of employees, then the Ministry of Digital Transformation will transfer them to the General Staff.
