According to TASS, citing a source in the military-industrial complex, the Russian Defense Ministry has purchased more than a thousand tablets on which the domestic Aurora OS operating system is installed. Gadgets are designed for the leadership of the defense department.
Recall that last year the government of the Russian Federation proposed to use the Aurora OS in government bodies as part of the implementation of the federal project “Digital Public Administration”.
Avrora OS (based on Sailfish OS) is a Russian mobile operating system that includes open source projects and closed source components. Created to build a trusted mobile infrastructure, protect sensitive information in government organizations, large and medium-sized commercial companies.
