The Ministry of Defense has developed a new uniform for servicemen participating in the military operation in Ukraine, reports RBC with a link to the source. The ministry confirmed to the publication the development of samples of the “form of the new generation”.

According to the interlocutor of RBC, the appearance of the form “in general, will be preserved, the quality of fabrics, seams and insulation will be improved.” The representative of the Ministry of Defense said that the uniform includes a set of summer, wind and water protection, demi-season and winter field uniforms. The delivery of the new field uniform to the armed forces is scheduled for this spring.

“In addition, newly introduced footwear items, such as lightweight special boots, special summer boots, special demi-season boots and rubber (insulated) boots, are included in the field uniform. The servicemen are also provided with winter footwear, the previously existing model of which has been amended,” the Defense Ministry added.

President Vladimir Putin has repeatedly paid attention on the need to supply the army “at the highest level.” At the same time, videos repeatedly appear on the network in which the military complain, in particular, about the lack of equipment. In February, Assistant Secretary of the Security Council Nail Mukhitov informed on the creation of an escort system for participants in a military operation.
