The Ministry of Defense clarified the procedure for partial mobilization

The Ministry of Defense of Russia came out with clarifications about the beginning of partial mobilization. According to the department, those categories of citizens that are necessary to perform combat missions will be called up: shooters, tankers, artillerymen, drivers, driver-mechanics.

According to the explanations of the Ministry of Defense, in addition to the above specialties will be called upon:

• citizens with combat experience;
• privates and sergeants up to 35 years old, junior officers up to 50 years old, senior officers up to 55 years old;
• citizens who have both officer ranks and the ranks of privates and sergeants, the priority criteria are military registration specialties, and not military ranks;
• citizens residing outside Russia and not registered with the military, are not subject to conscriptionand those who left for a short time and are registered with the military at their place of residence in Russia can be called up.

Will not be called:

• reserved citizens, these include employees of defense industry enterprises;
• recognized as temporarily unfit for health reasons;
• engaged in constant care for a family member or disabled people of group I;
• having four or more dependent children under the age of 16;
• those whose mothers, in addition to them, have four or more children under the age of eight years and bring them up without a husband;
• retired military pensioners (that is, those who are over 65 years old or who have been removed from military registration for health reasons).

Each region has its own task for partial mobilization, taking into account the existing mobilization reserve, there are no quotas.

Women on partial mobilization can fill the positions of health workers, but the need for such specialists is minimal.

The number of citizens called up from the reserve will not exceed 1% of the total number of the mobilization manpower reserve.

The Ministry of Defense recalled that all enterprises of the military-industrial complex are working in an enhanced mode. This requires a large number of skilled workers.
