The Ministry of Defense announced the reflection of three counterattacks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the DPR and LPR

Over the past day, the Russian military stopped three counterattacks of the armed forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Donetsk direction in the DPR and LPR. About it informs Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

“In the areas of the settlements of Artemovsk and Shumy of the Donetsk People’s Republic, as well as Belogorovka of the Luhansk People’s Republic, three enemy counterattacks were repelled,” the defense department said in a report. In total, enemy losses in this direction amounted to more than 40 servicemen.

In addition, the Armed Forces (AF) of the Russian Federation continued their offensive in the Krasno-Limansky direction. In particular, three sabotage and reconnaissance groups of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were destroyed in the DPR and LPR. In total, the losses of the enemy amounted to more than 50 people.

In the Kupyansk direction, up to 20 Ukrainian servicemen were destroyed in the area of ​​​​the villages of Berestovoye and Kislovka in the Kharkiv region. In the Yuzhnodonetsk direction, the Russian military destroyed two sabotage and reconnaissance groups of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as a result, the enemy lost up to 50 servicemen.

It is noted that in Kharkov the Russian Armed Forces hit the Ukrainian warehouse of rocket and artillery weapons, and in the DPR they destroyed the radar station of the S-300 anti-aircraft missile system. Also, Russian troops attacked command posts in the controlled territory of Kyiv in the Zaporozhye and Kherson regions with missile troops and artillery.

Earlier today, an air alert was announced throughout Ukraine. Particularly about hitting reported authorities of Kharkov, Nikolaev regions, as well as Kyiv and Poltava.

Russia’s special operation in Ukraine began on February 24. Russian President Vladimir Putin called the protection of the inhabitants of Donbass, as well as the demilitarization and denazification of Ukraine, its goals. During the special operation, Russian troops took control of the LPR, as well as most of the DPR, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions. Subsequently, these territories became part of Russia, and on October 19 martial law was introduced in the regions.
