Russian Defense Ministry: Airborne Forces repulsed all attacks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the southern flank of the Artemovsky direction
The Airborne Forces units, which are in fortified positions on the southern flank of the Artemivsk direction, successfully repel all attacks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (APU). This is reported by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
“Units of the Airborne Forces are confidently conducting an active defense and destroying the personnel and equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the southern flank of the Artemovsky direction,” the message says.
The Russian Defense Ministry also noted that the Airborne Forces had equipped an extensive network of strongholds.
The Russian Defense Ministry has published a video showing the combat work of airborne artillerymen using a 122-millimeter D-30 howitzer. On the footage you can see how the paratroopers destroy the BMP of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. It is specified that as a result of reconnaissance activities, up to 15 people of the personnel of the Ukrainian army and two combat vehicles were identified. As a result of the mortar battery, all targets were destroyed.
