The Ministry of Defense announced the downed Ukrainian Su-24 near Kharkov

Aviation of the Aerospace Forces (VKS) of Russia shot down a Ukrainian Su-24 aircraft near Kharkov. About it says in the report of the Russian Ministry of Defense.

“Fighter aircraft of the Russian Aerospace Forces shot down a Su-24 aircraft of the Ukrainian Air Force near the village of Boguslavka, Kharkiv region,” the report said.

The Ministry of Defense also reported that during the day the Russian army destroyed over 250 Ukrainian troops in the Donetsk direction. In the Krasnolimansky direction, enemy losses exceeded 80 servicemen, and in the Kupyansky direction – up to 70. Also, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation destroyed up to 15 military personnel in the Kherson direction. The total losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Zaporozhye and Yuzhnodonetsk directions amounted to 50 people.

The day before, March 22, in the department reported about the destruction of 300 Ukrainian troops in the Donetsk direction, more than 90 – in Krasnolimansky, about 50 – in Kupyansky, as well as in Zaporozhye and Yuzhnodonetsky – up to 40. At the same time, up to 20 soldiers in the Kherson direction. Two hangars with military equipment were also hit on the territory of the Shkolny airfield in Odessa.

The Russian special operation in Ukraine began on February 24, 2022. According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, since the beginning of hostilities, the Russian Armed Forces have destroyed 404 aircraft and 224 helicopters. More than 3,500 drones were also shot down.
