The Russian military hit two hangars with military equipment on the territory of the Shkolny airfield in Odessa. About it says in the report of the Russian Ministry of Defense.
“Two hangars with weapons and military equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were hit on the territory of the Shkolny airfield near the city of Odessa,” the statement said.
The Ministry of Defense also reported that during the day the Russian army destroyed 300 Ukrainian troops in the Donetsk direction. In the Krasnolimansky direction, enemy losses exceeded 90 servicemen, and in the Kupyansky direction – 50. Also, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation destroyed up to 20 military personnel in the Kherson direction. The total losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Zaporozhye and Yuzhnodonetsk directions amounted to 40 people.
On the eve of March 21, Ukrainian publications reported explosions in Odessa, and an air raid alert sounded in the region.
The Russian military has been striking Ukraine’s critical infrastructure since October 10, 2022. After the explosion on the Crimean bridge, Russian President Vladimir Putin emphasizedthat if Kyiv continues to strike at the territory of the country, a harsh response will follow.
The Russian special operation in Ukraine began on February 24, 2022. According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, since the beginning of hostilities, the Russian Armed Forces have destroyed 403 aircraft and 224 helicopters. More than 3,500 drones were also shot down.
