“I apologize for the incorrect information that was being circulated through the loudspeakers today… There have been no changes in the issues of mobilization. The same citizens who were indicated earlier are subject to the call, ”the military commissar specified.
He apologized after the incident criticized head of Dagestan Sergey Melikov. He drew attention to the videos circulating on social networks, which showed a car of the city administration for civil defense and emergency situations driving around Derbent. A loudspeaker was installed on the car, from which an order sounded for all men to urgently appear at the military registration and enlistment office with a passport and a military ID. Mr. Melikov called it “utter stupidity” and also asked the residents of the republic for forgiveness “for this trick.” He instructed “to take the most stringent measures against the perpetrators.”
Partial mobilization announced in Russia from September 21 by decree of President Vladimir Putin. Several uncoordinated actions against mobilization took place in Dagestan.
