The lawyer told what diseases the Russians will not fall under the mobilization

Mobilization does not apply to people with a range of ailments

Under partial mobilization, according to the statements of the authorities, first of all, Russians with combat experience who are in the reserve, with the military specialties required at the moment, fall under the partial mobilization. However, among these citizens there may be those who have serious illnesses, injuries or injuries that exempt from conscription.

In a conversation with Moscow 24 lawyer Maria Yarmush recalled that the full list of diseases that give a deferment or exemption from conscription is indicated in the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation No. The expert explained that the Russians are undergoing a medical examination and there is a list of diseases that give the right to receive a deferral or recognition of unfitness for service.

As noted by the specialist, these include serious diseases, including diabetes, asthma, rheumatoid arthritis, cardiovascular diseases, and severe skin diseases. In addition, according to the lawyer, a citizen cannot be called up if he has a confirmed coronavirus. In this case, it is allowed to send a person to the service only after recovery, Yarmush specified.

According to the expert, with a confirmed coronavirus, a citizen will need to undergo self-isolation, and this will be considered a good reason for not appearing at the military registration and enlistment office. However, the lawyer added that the draft board would need to be notified why the person could not come. In addition, a Russian will be temporarily exempted from mobilization if he is injured, such as a fracture, and he will be allowed to recover, and after full recovery will be called up for service, the lawyer concluded.
