The People’s Bank of Kazakhstan (Halyk Bank), which is the largest bank in the republic, explained exactly what restrictions were imposed on the cards of the Russian payment system “Mir”.
As RIA Novosti was informed in the contact center of the financial organization, the service of Mir cards at the bank’s ATMs was suspended, however, payments through pos-terminals continue to be carried out in the standard mode.
Earlier it was reported that servicing Mir cards stopped People’s Bank of Kazakhstan, as well as the Vietnamese bank BIDV.
In addition, a number of Turkish banks stopped working with Mir cards.
