The Kremlin considers it mandatory for Russia to participate in the investigation of the emergency at Nord Stream

Russia is alarmed by statements from Denmark and Sweden that it will not be included in the investigation of the emergency on the Nord Stream and Nord Stream 2 gas pipelines, said presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov. According to him, Moscow must definitely take part in the examination of the scene of the incident and in the investigation itself. He clarified that Russia “will be waiting for some clarifications on this matter.”

“So far, from those press conferences that were held in Denmark and Sweden, we have heard such alarming statements that any cooperation with the Russian side is excluded. We … believe that, of course, the participation of the Russian side in the examination of the places of damage and in the investigation of what happened should be mandatory, ”said a Kremlin spokesman during a press call.

September 26 at Nord Stream and Nord Stream 2 pressure dropped sharply. Sweden informedthat the explosions were the cause. NATO called damage to gas pipelines a sabotage, Vladimir Putin – an act of terrorism. Nord Stream AG informedthat he cannot investigate the Nord Stream incident without permission. In the Kremlin considerthat both pipelines can be restored.
