The jury found ex-senator Arashukov and his father guilty of murders

Former member of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Rauf Arashukov and his father Raul Arashukov were found guilty of organizing two murders. This decision was taken by jurors of the Moscow City Court.
Rauf and Raul Arashukov are accused of organizing the murders of Aslan Zhukov, deputy chairman of the Adyghe Khase youth movement, and Fral Shebzukhov, adviser to the President of Karachay-Cherkessia. Seven jurors voted in favor of admitting the guilt of the Arashukovs, one voted against.
Raul Arashukov was also found guilty of embezzling more than 4.4 billion rubles from the structures of the Gazprom corporation. Recall that Senator Rauf Arashukov was detained more than 3.5 years ago right in the meeting room of the upper house of the Russian parliament.
During the investigation, more than 90 cars were seized from the Arashukov family, including brands such as Porsche, Mercedes, Lexus, as well as assets worth 1.5 billion rubles.
