The investigation is considering several versions of the murder of a married couple who worked in the military-civilian administration of Berdyansk, RIA Novosti reports, whose correspondent visited the scene of the murder.

On September 16, Oleg Boyko, the acting first deputy mayor for infrastructure and housing and communal services, and his wife Lyudmila Boyko, who was the chairman of the territorial election commission on referendum issues, were killed in Berdyansk.

The officer of the operational service said that the murder took place around 9 am. The couple died from gunshot wounds to the head. At the scene of the murder – in the courtyard of their house and in the garage – 6 cartridge cases were found. Presumably, the killer used a Makarov pistol.

Witnesses reported hearing the muffled sounds of gunshots. It is assumed that the killer used a silencer.

It is reported that the investigation is considering two main versions: an attack by a professional DRG and a contract killing, which could be carried out by local residents, supporters of the Kyiv regime.
