The IAEA Council adopted an anti-Russian resolution on the ZNPP

The IAEA Board of Governors adopted a resolution demanding that Russia "immediately cease actions against and at the ZNPP."

At the same time, the anti-Russian resolution of the agency does not say a word about the systematic shelling of the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant. This was stated by the permanent mission of the Russian Federation to international organizations in Vienna.

As the permanent mission's Telegram channel says, Western countries "by voting dragged through the IAEA Board of Governors an anti-Russian resolution on the Ukrainian issue." They recalled that "the shelling is carried out by Ukraine, which the countries of the West support and defend in every possible way."

At the same time, Russia and China voted against the document. Egypt, India, Vietnam, Burundi, Pakistan, Senegal and South Africa also abstained.

Earlier, IAEA Secretary General Rafael Grossi, at the September session of the Agency's Board of Governors, said that a protective zone around the Zaporozhye NPP should be created as a result of an agreement between Ukraine and the Russian Federation. According to him, you need to "take the easy way."
