Chairman of the Union of Tajikists of Russia Abdullo Davlatov supported the decision to attract foreign citizens to military service.
As he noted in an interview with AGN “Moskva”, this is very good for those foreign citizens, especially for migrant workers who wish to obtain a Russian passport.
“In my opinion, many will go with pleasure,” Davlatov added, stressing that he certainly supports the adoption by the Russian State Duma of a law on simplifying the acquisition of Russian citizenship for foreigners who have signed a one-year contract for service in the Russian Armed Forces.
The head of the Union of Tajiks explained that this gives a lot of advantages, because now foreigners go through many procedures to obtain a Russian passport, and now it will be easier for them.
Also, according to him, now those who come to Russia to earn money “open up a new opportunity.”
Recall that earlier, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin announced the organization of cooperation between the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation and the Federal Migration Service “Sakharovo” in order to do everything necessary for the convenience of concluding contracts for foreign citizens.
