Russian President Vladimir Putin called the head of the Shebekinsky urban district of the Belgorod region Vladimir Zhdanov. About this Zhdanov told TV channel “Russia-24”.
“Today, Commander-in-Chief Vladimir Putin called me, I reported the situation to him, told him about our actions and plans. He thanked me. <…> The first thing he asked was: what kind of help is needed, ”said Zhdanov.

Later department reported details about today’s attempts by the Armed Forces of Ukraine to attack the territory of the region, in which several dozen militants participated. “In total, more than 50 Ukrainian terrorists, four armored combat vehicles, a combat vehicle of the BM-21 Grad multiple launch rocket system, one pickup truck were destroyed on the border territory from Ukraine,” the Defense Ministry said about the losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
