The head of the German Defense Ministry explained the lack of supplies of tanks to Ukraine

The head of the German Defense Ministry, Christina Lambrecht, explained the lack of deliveries of tanks to Ukraine by the unwillingness to “act alone,” writes Die Welt.

Earlier it was reported that Lambrecht arrived in Odessa on an unannounced visit, during which she announced new deliveries of German weapons.

According to Lambrecht, Germany has always made it clear that "it will not act alone in this area." She noted that Kyiv has long known that Berlin always coordinates its actions with partners, as, for example, it was with the supply of self-propelled howitzers.

According to her, Germany has already agreed with the United States and Britain on the supply of multiple launch rocket systems. “And we will continue to do the same in the future, including when it comes to the supply of tanks,” she said.

It is also reported that Lambrecht announced the arrival of the first promised air defense system, Iris-T SLM, soon.
