The head of Dzerzhinsk Ivan Noskov resigned early - Kommersant
The mayor of Dzerzhinsk, Nizhny Novgorod region, Ivan Noskov, left his post. At an extraordinary meeting today, October 2, the City Duma supported this decision unanimously. Mr. Noskov will head the Samara administration, said the speaker of the Nizhny Novgorod Legislative Assembly, Evgeny Lyulin.
The former mayor of the city wrote in his Telegram channel farewell post, in which he summed up the results of his six-year work and thanked residents, employees of the city administration and municipal institutions and heads of industrial enterprises.
The acting mayor of Dzerzhinsk will be the first deputy head of the city administration, Gleb Andreev. The competition to select candidates for the post of head will be held on October 25.
Ivan Noskov said that he would support the candidacy of Mikhail Klinkov, who now works in the administration of Bogorodsk as an assistant to the head and first deputy. Together with Ivan Noskov, he studied at the Krasnoyarsk State University, and in 2014–2015, when Ivan Noskov headed the Ministry of Housing Policy of the Irkutsk Region, Mr. Klinkov worked as his first deputy.
