The head of Buryatia, Alexei Tsydenov, refuted rumors that his eldest son “three days before the mobilization hastily flew to Israel to his maternal grandmother.” He posted the relevant statement in his Telegram channelaccompanying the entry with a screenshot of a fake publication.

“My eldest son both studied and studies at the Bauman University in Moscow. Naturally, he didn’t go anywhere. My wife’s grandparents and father have already died and are buried in Chita. The mother-in-law lives in Moscow,” said Mr. Tsydenov.
