The government decided to index a number of social payments by 11.9% from February 1, should from a document published on the official portal of legal information.

The document notes that this decision concerns benefits to families with children, maternity capital, payments to the disabled and veterans. Compensation for citizens affected by radiation due to the Chernobyl disaster or other accidents, as well as burial allowance, will also be indexed by 11.9%.
