The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine denied its own statement about the withdrawal of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation from Nova Kakhovka

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine issued a statement refuting earlier allegations about the alleged withdrawal of Russian troops from Nova Kakhovka in the Kherson region.

The Ukrainian General Staff said in a new statement that the mistake was made "as a result of the improper use of available data."

Earlier, statements about the withdrawal of the RF Armed Forces from the city were refuted by the acting governor of the Russian Kherson region Vladimir Saldo. According to him, "all the Russian military in Nova Kakhovka, as well as in other places of deployment on the left bank of the Dnieper, remain in their places." He called the information of the Armed Forces of Ukraine a "false stuffing" related to arrival President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky to the Kherson region.
