The Federal Air Transport Agency extended the restrictions on flights to the south of Russia until August 29

Rosaviatsia again extended temporary restriction of flights at 11 airports in the southern and central parts of Russia. These measures will be in effect until August 29. They apply to the airports of Rostov-on-Don, Anapa, Gelendzhik, Krasnodar, Elista, Simferopol, Bryansk, Belgorod, Voronezh, Kursk and Lipetsk.

As an alternative, the Federal Air Transport Agency advises using airports in Sochi, Volgograd, Mineralnye Vody, Stavropol and Moscow. The temporary flight restriction regime has been extended for the 30th time. Restrictions were introduced on February 24 due to the military operation in Ukraine.

Against the backdrop of a reduction in the number of Russian Railways flights appointed more than 1 thousand additional flights to the southern regions of Russia. Government singled out 2.5 billion rubles to support closed airports in the South and Center of the country.
