The ex-governor of the Yaroslavl region opened a children's tournament in Yaroslavl

Dmitry Mironov, ex-governor of the Yaroslavl region, arrived in the capital of the region to greet the participants of the children’s sledge hockey tournament.

Dmitry Mironov, being the governor, did a lot to start a sledge hockey section in Yaroslavl. He helped future athletes find and pay for ice, coaches and other necessary components of the section’s work. And he supported young athletes after leaving the post of governor.

Sledge hockey competitions have opened in Yaroslavl today. Assistant to the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Mironov arrived in the capital of the region to greet the participants of the tournament – children with disabilities. Dmitry Mironov said that he helped provide three members of the team with special wheelchairs in which teenagers move outside the ice. In the near future, teenagers will be able to receive them.
