The European Union has no information about the attack of drones in Moscow and the Moscow region. This was stated by the official representative of the foreign policy service of the European Union Peter Stano.

According to him, the EU should not comment on this incident, but the union took note of the reports of “UAV overflights”. “I can only reiterate the EU’s urgent call to Russia not to use such an incident to escalate illegal aggression against Ukraine,” declared Stano (quote from RIA Novosti).

According to the Ministry of Defense, eight drones were involved in the attack, five of which were shot down, the rest were suppressed by electronic warfare and deviated from the targets. The ministry called the strikes a “terrorist act.”

The Main Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia opened a criminal case on terrorism under Art. 205 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, the maximum punishment for which is life imprisonment.
