Tula Region Governor Milyaev Signs Decree on Resignation of Regional Government
The entire government of the Tula region resigned on Thursday, September 12. The corresponding decree was signed by Governor Dmitry Milyaev after his official inauguration.
In accordance with the Charter of the Tula Region, members of the government will continue to work in their current positions until a new composition is formed. It must be approved by Governor Dmitry Milyaev within 30 days.
Dmitry Milyaev won the regional elections, which took place in the Tula region on September 6-8. According to the results summarized by the election commission, he received 78.53% of the votes.
The inauguration of the governor took place on September 12. The ceremony was attended by the former head of the region, the current assistant to the President of Russia Alexey Dyumin.
