The embassy called the material of the State Department about war crimes in Russia "another fake"

The US State Department continues to disseminate information about the "filtration camps" that Russia allegedly created in the DPR. This information is "another fake," the Russian embassy in the United States said.

The diplomatic mission added that the US authorities also insist on the involvement of the Russian military in the destruction of hospitals, schools and cultural facilities in the republic.

“This is another fake aimed at discrediting the Russian special military operation,” says in the message of the embassy, published in the Telegram channel.

The diplomats stressed that Moscow complies with the norms of international humanitarian law and does not strike at civilian infrastructure. Moreover, as specified in the embassy, Russia is restoring social facilities that "were destroyed as a result of the savage actions of the Kyiv regime."

The day before, the Conflict Observatory project launched by the State Department, citing researchers from Yale University, published material about more than 20 “filtration camps” allegedly created by Russia on the territory of the DPR.

Earlier, US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken said that Moscow was forcibly holding Ukrainian citizens in Russia. He also urged the Russian Federation to "provide independent third-party observers with access" to allegedly existing "filtration facilities and areas of forced deportation" of Ukrainians.

Blinken's words were commented by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova. “I went for a medical encyclopedia. Such a case should be described somewhere, ”she wrote in the Telegram channel.
