How informs Italian newspaper Corriere della Sera, The European Commission has prepared a plan to combat the energy crisis in the EU, which will allow countries to choose the percentage by which they will reduce electricity consumption.
“Each EU member state will be able to independently determine by how many percent to reduce energy consumption,” the document provides.
However, it is specified that during peak hours this percentage of savings will have to be at least 7%.
