The Eastern Economic Forum will be held from 10 to 13 September



Eastern Economic Forum (VEF) will be held from 10 to 13 September, said Deputy Prime Minister - presidential envoy to the Far Eastern Federal District Yuri Trutnev.

"Eastern Economic Forum will take place from 10 to 13 September. The new dates have been approved taking into account the schedules of international events," Trutnev was quoted as saying by the press service of the plenipotentiary's office. It was originally planned that the forum would take place on September 5-8.

According to Trutnev, this year the event will discuss prospects for cooperation, new investment projects, development of territories, transport and logistics corridors, infrastructure and expansion of tourism cooperation.

Eastern Economic Forum last year brought together more than 7,000 participants from 68 countries and territories, including Russia. Among the participants were about 1,700 business representatives from 700 companies. On the margins of the Forum, 296 agreements were signed for a total of 3 trillion 272 billion rubles.
