The Dygyn Games will now feature 16 athletes

A new rating system for selecting finalists of the Dygyn Games has been introduced in Yakutia. Now 16 athletes who successfully passed all three stages of selection have received the opportunity to participate in the competition, the Sport Yakutia publication reports.

This decision was made at a meeting of the executive committee of the Yakutia National All-Around Federation in cooperation with the Yakutsk Department of Physical Culture and Sports.

To reach the final of the Dygyn Games, athletes will need to participate in three qualifying tournaments. Based on the results of these stages, the best athletes will be able to compete for victory in the final.

The first qualifying round will take place in December 2024, the second in February 2025, and the third in April 2025.

Previously, athletes could qualify through one of the qualifying tournaments; it was enough to take one of the first four places.
