The DPR announced the liberation of two settlements in the Artemovsk region

Allied forces liberated the settlements of Nikolaevka and Nikolaevka Second in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) near the city of Artemovsk, transmits headquarters of the territorial defense of the republic in the Telegram channel.

“On the territory of the Donetsk People’s Republic, a group of troops from the DPR and LPR, with fire support from the RF Armed Forces, liberated Nikolaevka and Nikolaevka Vtoraya,” the report says.

The headquarters noted that the Ukrainian military opened fire on the territory of the republic using tanks, 155, 152 and 122-mm cannon artillery, 120-mm mortars. Areas of 12 settlements of the DPR fell under shelling.

“According to the DPR Representative Office in the JCCC, 16 housing constructions and SEVEN civil infrastructure facilities were damaged. The total number of ammunition used by Ukrainian militants is 255 units,” the headquarters concluded.

Terodefense HQ formerly informedthat two people were killed as a result of the shelling of the Voroshilovsky district in the center of Donetsk by the Ukrainian military. This information was confirmed by the mayor of the city Alexei Kulemzin. “According to preliminary information, as a result of the shelling of the trolleybus terminus near the Emerald store, 2 civilians were killed and 5 people were injured,” he said.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to regularly shell the peaceful neighborhoods of Donetsk. So, in late August, the city center came under fire, as a result of which three civilians were killed, the DPR administration building and the Central Hotel, where foreign journalists live, were damaged.
