The doctor of the USSR national football team Myshalov died

The press service of the Moscow football club Lokomotiv reported that the former doctor of the USSR national football team, Honored Doctor of the Russian Federation Savely Myshalov, died at the age of 90. Myshalov had a long-term cooperation with the club – he worked there for 22 years.

Savely Myshalov worked for 12 years as the chief physician in the USSR national speed skating team, after which in 1970 he was invited to the country’s football team, to which he devoted the next 24 years.

From 1994 to 2016, his work was associated with Lokomotiv. During these years, according to the press service of the FC, the team for the first time won the gold medals of the championship of Russia and the Cup of Russia.

FC Lokomrtiv expressed its condolences to the family and friends of Myshalov.
