Russian courts began to receive claims from citizens called up as part of partial mobilization.

So, yesterday, September 29, the courts of the Yaroslavl region received three administrative lawsuits to challenge the decisions of the draft commissions on mobilization, Olga Kozlova, press secretary of the regional court, told reporters. A resident of Rybinsk demands that the decision of the local military registration and enlistment office on conscription for military service and the decision of the military medical commission on recognition as fit for military service be declared illegal. The plaintiff asks to apply measures of preliminary protection in the form of suspension of the decision of the draft board. The administrative claim has been accepted for proceedings, the hearing is scheduled for October 14. Also, the Leninsky and Frunzensky district courts of Yaroslavl received an administrative claim challenging the actions of the military registration and enlistment offices. These applications have not yet been accepted for production.

In the Yaroslavl region, we note that as part of the partial mobilization, 3.5 thousand summonses were sent to citizens. The government of the region draws attention to the fact that receiving the agenda does not mean directly mobilization. According to the local “All-Russian People’s Front”, about 250 complaints have already been received about violations during mobilization in the Yaroslavl region.

Petersburger Daniil Bakalinsky filed a lawsuit against the military commissariat of the Frunzensky district. He believes that they illegally tried to call him up as part of partial mobilization. According to the United Press Service of the city courts, on September 22, Mr. Bakalinsky came to the military registration and enlistment office to clarify the documents of the military registration. There, without a medical examination, without listening to explanations, he was handed a summons at 16:00 on the same day. According to the new document, he must depart for the place of duty.

Daniil Bakalinsky, referring to his convictions, requested an alternative civilian service. He asks to declare illegal and cancel the decision of the draft board. At the same time, the plaintiff asked the court to apply a measure of preliminary protection – to prohibit, until the consideration of the claim is over, to take him to the army. At the time of submission of the material, the claim was not accepted for production.

As clarified “Kommersant” in the judicial press service, the plaintiff did not declare a representative. The whereabouts of Daniil Bakalinsky is unknown. It was not possible to contact him “Kommersant”.

It should be noted that the portal “Explain.RF” created by the government of the Russian Federation on September 25 reported that “alternative service during mobilization is not provided.”
