The Zamoskvoretsky Court of Moscow refused to cancel the decision of the Ministry of Justice to include him in the list of foreign agents. This was reported by the correspondent of “Vedomosti” from the courtroom.

The Ministry of Justice included Slepakov in the register in April 2023. In a statement clarifiedthat Slepakov “received support from foreign sources, opposed the special military operation in Ukraine, formed a negative attitude towards military service and civil service in general,” and also spoke negatively about citizens of the Russian Federation.

After the start of the special operation in Ukraine, Slepakov went to Russia. In March 2022, the police began a check against Slepakov because of a song about a Russian soldier who died in Ukraine. The initiator of the check was the head of the Federal Project for Security and Anti-Corruption Vitaly Borodin. In his opinion, with this song the artist discredited the Russian army.

On June 2, the Zamoskvoretsky Court also rejected similar claims blogger Ilya Varlamov (recognized as a foreign agent in the Russian Federation) and comedian Maxim Galkin (recognized as a foreign agent in the Russian Federation). Galkin was included in the register of individuals-foreign agents in September 2022, Varlamov – in March 2023. Singer Zemfira (recognized as a foreign agent in the Russian Federation) also filed a lawsuit demanding to remove the status of a foreign agent.
