The comet, which may be visible during the day, survived its approach to the Sun

Comet C/2023 A3 (Zijinshan-ATLAS) did not disintegrate after its approach to the Sun on September 27 and continues to approach Earth, reports starwalk.space.

The space object is expected to reach peak brightness around October 9-12. Scientists suggest that it may be visible even during the day, but the optimal time to observe it will be immediately after sunset, the publication says.

The comet will be 71 million kilometers from Earth at its closest approach. This is twice as close as the Sun.
