The ceremony of presenting the national film award “Golden Eagle” took place in Moscow

On January 27, 2023, in the 1st pavilion of the Mosfilm Cinema Concern, the 21st Annual Golden Eagle National Film Award Ceremony was held. The ceremony was jointly held by the founder of the award, the National Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences of Russia, and the official partner since 2016, the jewelry company Mercury. Mercury made 40 awards this year, featuring a silver-gilt eagle on an Italian marble pedestal with the company’s gold logo. The award ceremony was opened by the director, People’s Artist of the Russian Federation, General Director and Chairman of the Board of the Mosfilm Film Concern Karen Shakhnazarov, and the hosts were journalist Daria Zlatopolskaya and People’s Artist of the Russian Federation Alexei Guskov. The winners in the nominations were presented to the public by actresses Anna Snatkina, Tatyana Lyutaeva, Marina Zudina, Ekaterina Klimova and Alexandra Ursulyak, as well as cameraman Eduard Gimpel and director Pyotr Buslov.
