The Central Bank approved the list of systemically important credit institutions

Central Bank (CB) of Russia approved list of systemically important banks. Like last year, it included 13 organizations. According to the regulator, they account for about 77% of the total assets of the Russian banking sector.

Systemically important credit institutions:

  1. JSC UniCredit Bank
  2. Bank GPB (JSC)
  3. PJSC Sovcombank
  4. VTB Bank (PJSC)
  5. JSC “ALFA-BANK”
  6. PJSC Sberbank
  7. PJSC Moscow Credit Bank
  8. PJSC Bank FC Otkritie
  9. PJSC ROSBANK
  10. JSC “Tinkoff Bank”
  11. PJSC Promsvyazbank
  12. JSC Raiffeisenbank
  13. JSC Rosselkhozbank

The list of systemically important banks in Russia includes organizations whose work is recognized as the most important for maintaining the stability of the entire banking system of the country.

After the partial mobilization was announced in Russia, six Kommersant sources reported that the Central Bank had requested lists of employees from credit institutions who could be subject to partial mobilization, but could qualify for a reservation. According to Kommersant, the request was received by all systemically important banks, and in total – about a hundred credit institutions and banking groups.

Earlier, the Ministry of Defense named the industries whose workers will be exempted from partial mobilization. At the moment, such employees include employees of the military-industrial complex, information technology, Russian telecom operators and the financial sector.
