The Ambassador of the Luhansk People’s Republic in Russia, Rodion Miroshnik, said that social and medical institutions in the settlements of Kremennaya and Svatovo were being evacuated. According to him, there is almost no connection with them, and the information comes “with a big scratch and dosed.”
According to Mr. Miroshnik, Kremennaya and nearby villages are “not crowded”. “The main social institutions have been evacuated,” the ambassador wrote in Telegram. According to him, “the main medical and social institutions are being evacuated” in Svatovo. “Local authorities are working in a reduced form, including evacuation. There is no panic,” he added.
Rodion Miroshnik said that the territory of Kremennaya is controlled by Russian troops. The Ukrainian military, according to him, are in the area of Seversk and Torsky. The ambassador, referring to expert estimates, reports that up to 10,000 people may be there. “On our part, there is an active construction of fortifications and the formation of a line of defense. The equipment is working,” wrote Mr. Miroshnik.
In Svatovo, according to the ambassador, “relatively quiet.” There are defensive lines. “It is difficult to estimate the strength of the enemy. There is evidence of regroupings, the movement of heavy equipment,” added Mr. Miroshnik.
Russia annexed the LPR along with the DPR, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions following referendums. The day before, on October 5, President Vladimir Putin appointed Leonid Pasechnik as acting head of the LPR.
