On September 24, the games of the All-Russian final of the Open Interregional Basketball League 3×3 – Division “League Region” started in the multifunctional sports center “Tula-Arena”. The games will be played over two days.

Athletes and fans were welcomed by the Minister of Sports of the Tula Region Dmitry Yakovlev.

“Basketball is one of the most dynamic and popular sports. These competitions give a new impetus to its development, popularization among young people. And the Tula Arena, built on the initiative of Governor Alexei Dyumin, is one of the best venues for training the Olympic reserve, including basketball,” the minister said.

Basketball players from the Bryansk, Vladimir, Ivanovo, Kaluga, Kursk, Leningrad, Murmansk, Novosibirsk, Orenburg, Ryazan, Sverdlovsk, Smolensk, Tver, Tula, Tyumen regions, St. Petersburg, Makhachkala and the Trans-Baikal Territory participate in the tournament. They will fight for a ticket to the Super Cup of the United Continental League 3×3, which will be held in Kaluga from 11 to 12 November.
