According to the Daily Mail, citing informed sources, the UK team is likely to abandon the idea of boycotting the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris against the backdrop of allowing athletes from Russia and Belarus to compete.
“The British team is ready to accept the position of the International Olympic Committee, despite the negative reaction of official London,” the newspaper writes.
Earlier, the United States stated that they were not against the participation of Russian and Belarusian athletes in the Olympic Games in Paris.
